In a significant move towards digital transformation, the Sports Board Punjab has decided to shift its entire record-keeping and office system to an online, computerised format. The initiative marks a new era of paperless operations and modernised administrative efficiency within the provincial sports administration.

Under the direction of Director General Sports Punjab Khizra Afzal Chaudhry, a dedicated training session on the Online Filing System was organised for staff at the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Punjab.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the training, facilitated by PITB expert Hamza Khalid, aimed to educate employees on digital file management, online notings, and inter-departmental document transfers.

Participants included officers and employees from both the Sports Department, Punjab, and the Sports Board Punjab. Notable attendees included Deputy Directors Yasmin Akhtar and Chand Parveen, along with IT Head Jawadullah, Assistant Director Bilal Akram, Muhiuddin, and administrators from Nishtar Park Sports Complex.

During the session, PITB's expert provided hands-on guidance on how to manage office work digitally, covering essential operations like digital notings and sending documents online between departments.

Speaking about the initiative, DG Sports Punjab Khizra Afzal Chaudhry said that the training is a crucial step in preparing the department for a paperless future. She emphasised that the goal is not only to bring modernity to office operations but also to enhance speed and efficiency within the legacy system of document handling.

“The objective of this training is to familiarise staff with the online office work system, which will bring innovation and agility to our daily operations,” she added.
