New projects have been launched in the oil and gas sector in the country courtesy the efforts made by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Mari Energies and Orient Petroleum have cooperated in three projects of oil and gas.
Mari Energies has 45 per cent shares in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Marwat Block and Balochistan’s Harnai South Block.
The company also expects to get 20 per cent non-operating share in Punjab’s Ratna Development and Production Lease.
The purpose of these measures is to secure the future of the country in the energy sector by enhancing the production of oil and gas at local level.
