Punjab Police’s award-winning female police officer has won another honour for Pakistan as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) has selected Aisha Butt for its best officer award, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
This will be Aisha Butt’s second international award for Pakistan and Punjab Police as she was decorated with “Excellence in Performance Award 2025” by the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) last year.
Hailing from Gujranwala where she had already served as chief traffic officer, Aisha Butt will receive the award at a ceremony to be held in Florida by the IACP on 27 October 2026.
Aisha Butt is now serving as Superintendent of Police (SP) Elite Headquarters in Lahore.
In 2025, the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) had selected Aisha Butt for its global ‘Excellence in Performance Award 2025’.
The IAWP is an international organization with over 70 countries and 30 affiliate organizations as its members. The IAWP says its mission is to strengthen, unite and raise the capacity of women in policing internationally. It provides critical opportunities for women in training, mentoring, collaboration and networking.
