Foreign Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has met with leaders of the country’s business community in Lahore,” the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
PPP Chairman Bilawal called on the Chairman of United Business Group Shahzad Ali Malik at the latter residence where the Chairman of the Deen Group and provincial minister SM Tanvir, and former presidents of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Abdul Rauf Alam, and Daru Khan were also present. Some prominent businessmen from other districts, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also present on the occasion.
They held detailed discussions with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto regarding the overall economic situation of the country.
The traders' leaders expressed their concerns to the foreign minister about the deteriorating economic conditions of the country and the budget for FY 2023-24.
