An unidentified attacker shot dead his rival and his son who were going to appear before a local court in Chishtian on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A team from Police Station Saddar reached the spot and collected evidence and shifted the bodies to a morgue.
DSP Faizul Haq also rushed to the site where the crime scene unit and forensic team collected evidence.
Younis (55) and his son Asif (30) were going to appear before a court when his opponent ambushed them, opening fire resulting in the death of both on the spot.
Both father and son duo was from Chak Fateh of tehsil Chishtian.
The incident occurred near Chak No 35 Gijiyani.
