Two houses were destroyed when a fire broke out in a village on the outskirts of Murree on Saturday night.
The fire broke out in a village near Mussiari Chowk on Murree Expressway. Fire brigade vehicles could not reach the affected village on time because there was no road, and two houses were burnt to ashes as a result.
Reports suggest that short-circuiting caused the fire in the wooden houses. However, residents of these houses remained safe in the incident.
