State Bank of Pakistan said during April 2025, overseas Pakistanis opened 8802 Roshan Digital accounts and total number of Roshan Digital accounts reached 814,244 by April 2025, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
According to data released by SBP, during the month of April, $177 million were deposited in Roshan Digital accounts, $10.18 billion deposits were made in Roshan Digital accounts since September 2020. $6.52 billion was used locally from Roshan Digital accounts.
Gross foreign exchange inflows through the Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) stood at $177 million in April 2025, which remain 25 percent down month-on-month compared to $235 million in the month of March.
Out of total received funds, $1,757 million has been repatriated while $6,527 million has been utilized locally. With this Net repatriable liability remained at $1,896 million.
Overall Roshan Digital Accounts funds received to date increased to $10.18 billion by the end of April 2025. Till the end of April, $1.757 billion have been repatriated with $6.527 billion utilized locally. The net repatriable liability was at $1.897 billion.
From September 2020 to April 2025, total net investments made through Roshan Digital Accounts stood at $1.896 billion. NPC Investments (Conventional) stood at $456 million, while NPC Investments (Islamic) were recorded at $900 million. Roshan Equity Investments came in at $58 million. The Balances in Accounts were recorded at $444 million with Other Liabilities coming in at $39 million.
