Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that all the nominated banks would remain open on Saturday, as today is the deadline to deposit second installment of Hajj 2026 for the government scheme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ministry urged intending pilgrims to receive a computerized receipt after depositing Hajj dues to avoid any inconvenience or potential issues with their application.
According to a ministry spokesperson, designated banks will remain open for collection of Hajj dues on Saturday, November 15 (today).
To avoid cancellation, applicants must submit the dues and obtain a computerized bank receipt.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that authorised bank branches will remain open on Saturday for collection of second instalment of Hajj 2026 dues.
The SBP says this decision has been taken on the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
The press release said banks will remain open on Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, to accept the instalments of Hajj 2026.
