Twenty-one Pakistani pilgrims from Faisalabad who reached Saudi Arabia via Serene Air to perform Umrah were stranded in Saudi Arabia as the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) suspended Serene Air flight operations, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the details, these Pakistani pilgrims left for Saudi Arabia from Faisalabad on September 22, 2025, and have to return on October 11, 2025.
Later, the pilgrims made a video of their current condition and sought the immediate attention of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
In their appeal, the pilgrims said that they have been stranded in Saudi Arabia for the last four days along with old and ill citizens.
He appealed to the Interior Minister to take measures to resolve this issue on a priority basis.
The pilgrims said they are facing “such a worsened situation” despite having return tickets.
