Aleema Khan quoted the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan as saying on Wednesday that he could resolve Afghanistan issue if he is released on parole.

Speaking to the media, Aleema quoted Imran as saying, “I am saddened by the Muridke massacre and I demand a judicial commission to investigate this incident.”

Aleema said that PTI lawyers advanced their arguments in the Al-Qadir Trust case today but they requested more time to complete their arguments. She said that Al-Qadir Trust case hearing was in progress, but the judge was not allowing it to progress. She said that punishment for Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has already been written and the judge would simply announce his verdict.

She said that a non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against her yesterday for relaying Imran Khan’s message to the media and the people of Pakistan. She said jokingly since she conveyed Imran Khan’s message to the media, journalists should also be made party in this case. She said the rulers wanted to indict her so she reached jail to challenge her indictment. She said she was indicted later.
