Pakistan Army has killed 30 Khawarij in Mohmad district of Khyber Paktunkhawa on Wednesday, Army also foiled infiltration bid in North Waziristan and killed seven terrorists in Abakehl area, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
According to ISPR, Pakistan Army's harsh retaliation has forced Afghan Taliban to rely on Fitna al-Khawarij. The security sources said Pakistan Army foiled Afghan Taliban's attempt to send Khawarij to Mohmand district.
Pakistan Army's timely action killed 30 Khawarij members of the formation, security sources said. The purpose of sending the formation was to spread terrorism through infiltration from the Turkmanzai border area of Mohmand, security sources said.
This incursion was a failed attempt by Afghanistan Taliban to avenge the defeat of the Pakistan Army's strong counter-attacks.
The security forces operation continued in area and there are reports of more Khawarij being killed, security sources.
Earlier Pakistan Army foiled infiltration bid in North Waziristan and killed seven terrorists in Abakehl area. According to ISPR press release, Pakistan Army conducted a successful operation against terrorists in Abakhel, North Waziristan on October 14. During the successful operation, 7 Khawarij were killed while targeting a terrorist group.
The Khawarij who were killed by the Pak Army, were planning a terror attack in the area. The security sources said Pak Army and security forces were determined to eradicate the scourge of terrorism from the country.
