Gold prices in Pakistan remained steady on Monday, holding close to record highs set over the weekend, 24NewsHD TV reported.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola stood unchanged at Rs386,300 in the local market.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams also remained stable at Rs331,189.

The trend mirrored international movements, where gold held firm at $3,643 per ounce, with a $20 premium, APGJSA reported.

Stability in global prices contributed to the unchanged rates in Pakistan’s bullion markets.

On Saturday, gold touched the record high of Rs386,300 per tola after briefly dropping by Rs200 during the day.

Despite minor fluctuations, demand for the precious metal has remained strong, supported by international price patterns and economic factors that influence investor sentiment.

Silver prices in the domestic market also showed no change, with the per tola rate remaining steady at Rs 4,443.

Analysts suggest that gold’s stability at near-record levels highlights ongoing global uncertainty, with investors continuing to seek safe-haven assets.
