Katy Perry has officially kicked off the Brazil leg of her Lifetimes tour, delighting fans with a sparkling stage look and a heartfelt message.
The singer, 40, shared a series of photos on Instagram ahead of her performance in São Paulo on Sunday. Styled by Tatiana Waterford, Perry wore a glittering silver two-piece outfit paired with a textured black blazer draped over her shoulders. She completed the look with silver heels and aviator-style glasses.
“BRAZIL! I said I would be back, and here I am to dance in the light with you all again✨,” Perry wrote to her 202 million Instagram followers. She added that after São Paulo, her next stops will be Curitiba and Brasília.
The mom-of-one, who shares daughter Daisy with former fiancé Orlando Bloom, wore a sleek black wig styled in soft waves, while her makeup was done by artist Chloe Schlossman. Photographer Cynthia Parkhurst captured the photos and also shared an image of Perry holding the Brazilian flag on stage.
The Brazil shows come at a transitional moment in Perry’s personal life. Earlier this year, she confirmed her split from Bloom, with representatives for the pair stating they remain committed to co-parenting Daisy with “love, stability, and mutual respect.”
Sources close to the singer told People that Perry is currently focused on raising her daughter and her ongoing world tour. “Katy isn’t looking to date right now. She’s navigating personal changes while giving her fans the best tour possible,” the insider shared.
Perry had recently sparked romance rumours after being spotted dining with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Montreal. However, reports suggest the singer’s primary focus remains on her music career and motherhood.
