The Pakistan under-17 football team has arrived in Sri Lanka to participate in the SAFF U-17 Championship 2025, which will be staged from September 15 to 27.
All seven SAFF nations are taking part in this year's edition.
Group A consists of hosts Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh, while Group B will see the Blue Colts go up against Maldives, Bhutan, and Pakistan.
The top two from each will advance to the semi-finals on September 25.
The final will be held on September 27.
India are the defending champions, having won the SAFF U17 title in Bhutan last year after beating Bangladesh 2-0 in the final.
According to the schedule, Pakistan will play its opening match against Bhutan on September 16.
The fixture will kick off at 7:00 pm Pakistan Standard Time.
The championship is seen as an important platform for grooming young players and preparing them for future international challenges.
With strong teams such as India in their group, Pakistan’s campaign will demand resilience and sharp performances from the squad.
