Police in Lahore on Tuesday arrested five PTI workers for violating section 144 and blocking a road during KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s visit to the provincial capital on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A case was registered against them at Qila Gujjar Singh police station under five sections, including interference in official duty.
As many as 10 more persons were also nominated in the FIR, which stated that the party workers blocked a road and raised slogans.
It was also alleged that the workers tore the uniform of one of the policemen who tried to apprehend them.
