FBR assistant director feared abducted from Rawalpindi

An assistant director of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has gone missing from RA Bazaar area of Rawalpindi a few days ago and it was feared that he was abducted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the son of the missing assistant director, his father Rehmatullah Khan left home on April 12 and has not returned yet.

However, the police registered an FIR fearing “abduction” of the missing Rehmatullah Khan.

The case was registered on the complaint of Muhammad Shafiq, son of Rehmatullah Khan.

As per the text of the FIR, Rehmatullah Khan went to visit his friends for Eid on April 12, but did not return home.

Calls were not received when contacted on the mobile phone but later the mobile phone was switched off.

It is feared that an accident happened with Rehmatullah Khan, or he was kidnapped, text of the case said.
