Islamabad Police on Thursday called in additional contingents of the Punjab Police as arrangements are being made at a fast pace to host possible second round of talks between Iran and the USA, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Already, police personnel from different districts of the province have started to trickle in in the federal capital.
As many as 18,000 personnel of Islamabad Police, Punjab Police and Rangers will be deployed to provide security during the event, while over 5,000 officials and personnel had performed duties during the first round of talks.
Arrangements have been finalized to keep the Red Zone secure during possible talks.
Meanwhile, arrangements are also being made for regulating traffic.
