Bushra Ansari, taking to her Instagram said that her latest movie Welcome to Punjab is very strongly recommended to all her viewers as a lot of effort and love has been put into it.
She added that the director, Shehzad Rafiq has put a lot of effort in writing and directing the movie.
The audience will get to see Javed Sheikh, Sajid Hassan and Mumtaz along with Bushra. New faces will also be seen in this movie, Ansari added.
She said that the film has a very strong message for all Pakistanis who should stay united and love each other no matter their province, culture or language.
Bushra is a veteran Pakistani actress who started her career in the 60s as a child artist. She ruled the screen with her wit and flawless delivery in blockbuster dramas including Angan Terha, Show Time and Fifty-Fifty.
Amongst her most loved dramas are Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat and its sequels.
Recently, Bushra was caught in a ruckus for her statement about wanting to wear either an old Saree of Lata Mangeshkar’s or a pair of Amitabh Bachchan’s used socks.
Taking to her Instagram, she also cleared the air about her statement saying that she said it as a joke in a gathering of friends and it had no serious context. She jokingly said that it has become a national issue and she does not at all want to go to jail for it.
