TikToker Makhdoom Junaid’s dramatic arrest took the internet by storm on Saturday as his relative disrobed her clothes and attacking the raiding officials in Karachi, reported 24NewsHDTV channel on Saturday.
A team of the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency acted on a tip-off and approached Junaid’s residence to take him into custody. Upon seeing the enforcement team, Junaid allegedly attempted to flee after attacking the raiders.
The operation escalated when relatives of the accused reportedly resisted the arrest, with footage of the confrontation quickly going viral on social media.
During the chaotic moments, some female relatives reportedly disrobed in protest and followed the TikTok star on the street, while the raiding team sought additional support from the Sachal Police Station mobile unit nearby.
Despite the resistance, the enforcement team successfully detained Junaid along with his relatives, Fakhmida Makhdoom, Ghazala, and his niece Kainat, and transported them to the NCCIA Karachi office.
Officials revealed that Junaid had befriended a woman to blackmail her.
Reports indicate that the TikToker allegedly extorted Rs 4.4 million from the victim and demanded an additional Rs 7 million. When the demands were not met, the explicit video was reportedly leaked.
The arrest has drawn widespread attention online due to the sensational nature of the raid and the violent resistance from the accused and his family members.
Investigators are now examining further evidence related to the honey trap operation, and additional arrests or charges may follow as the inquiry continues.
As social media continues to capture every moment of the raid, the incident has sparked a debate over the behavior of internet celebrities, the role of family members in such confrontations, and the growing impact of cybercrime enforcement across major cities.
