A book launch ceremony for Kitaban Manjh Kimia, written by noted writer, intellectual, politician and social worker Aamanullah Sheikh, was held at the Karachi Arts Council.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the event was attended by a number of literary, political and social figures, who gathered to discuss the author’s latest work.
Among those attending were Dr Salman Sheikh, Mehtab Akbar Rashdi, Professor Ijaz Qureshi, Madiha Noori and Dr Aftab Ahmed, along with other scholars and literary figures.
Speakers discussed different aspects of the book and praised Aamanullah Sheikh for his literary and intellectual work.
The speakers also discussed the main themes of the book, its ideas and its importance for society.
They highlighted the author’s effort to present thoughts on issues that remain relevant to the wider community.
The ceremony brought together people from different fields and provided an opportunity to discuss the book and its contribution to literature and public thought.
