Eight people were injured after the fuel tank of a motorcycle exploded in Defence B, DHA Phase 2, Lahore, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to police, the explosion caused burn injuries to the eight people, who were taken to the surgical emergency department of Jinnah Hospital for treatment.
The injured were identified as Amir, Asad Shahbaz, Imtiaz, Hamza Javed, Sami, Zaheer, Danish Akram and Asadullah Ditta.
Hospital officials said the condition of all eight injured people was satisfactory.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the motorcycle’s fuel tank exploding.
