Citizens were deprived of relief in the high-speed diesel price, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The government increased the levy on high-speed diesel by Rs5 to Rs30 per litre on the conditions of International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The OMC margin on petrol has been increased by Rs1 to Rs5 per litre.
However, sales tax rate on petrol and high-speed diesel remains zero.
