A delegation led by President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Mandi Bahauddin, Moeez Diwan, called on Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The meeting held at Peace House discussed the issues of establishing a small industrial estate in Mandi Bahauddin.
The delegation demanded the establishment of a chamber office and a business facilitation centre.

Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain assured the delegation that a small industrial estate will be built in Mandi Bahauddin in view of the need for industry.
Land was identified in 2016 for the establishment of a small industrial estate in Mandi Bahauddin, but practically nothing happened, the delegation informed the minister.
Punjab Small Industries Corporation will provide the necessary industrial infrastructure in the industrial estate, the Minister ensured.
A uniform policy has been adopted regarding industrialisation in 23 small industrial estates of Punjab.
According to the policy, it is necessary to set up an industrial unit in industrial estates within 2 years; otherwise, the plot will be cancelled.
The real estate business, which has been going on for years in industrial centres, has been closed forever.
Plots of those who did not set up industrial units as per the policy have been cancelled.
The Provincial Minister formed a committee to determine the rules for providing plots in the Small Industrial Estate in Mandi Bahauddin.
