The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast cold and dry weather across most parts of the country, with moderate to heavy fog or smog expected in the plains of Punjab, Upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Islamabad, temperatures are expected to remain cold and dry, with similar conditions prevailing in surrounding areas. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also experience cold and dry weather, while morning and night fog is likely in districts including Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, and DI Khan.
Most districts of Punjab are expected to remain cold and dry, including Murree, Galiyat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalnagar, Okara, Sahiwal, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Kasur.
The lowest temperatures recorded today included Leh at minus 5°C, and Gopis, Kalat, Bagrot, and Skardu at minus 2°C. Citizens are advised to take precautions against the cold and limited visibility due to fog.
