Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), during a crackdown, arrested four human smugglers, including a woman from Gujranwala and Gujrat, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
A spokesman of the FIA said that the accused were identified as Abdul Subhan Malik, Idrees Ali, Mohammad Riaz, and Farhana.
The accused generated Rs11.5 million from innocent people by showing them golden dreams for sending them to Norway, Australia, Spain, and Portugal.
Accused Abdul Subhan Malik collected Rs2 million from a citizen after promising him to send Norway.
Accused Idrees Ali collected Rs 2,50,000 from a citizen on the promise to send him to Qatar.
Accused Mohammad Riaz generated Rs26,50,000 from a citizen for sending him for Portugal.
The female accused Farhana, collected Rs65,50,000 from different citizens to settle them in Australia, Spain.
Later, all the accused went into hiding after collecting the money from the innocent citizens.
The spokesman further revealed that investigations were started from the arrested accused.
