Five people lost their lives in two road accidents in Baseerpur and Sangar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The first accident occurred at Baseerpur By-pass Road due to dense fog, in which three members of the same family died.
The bike skidded on the road and fell, and was hit by a trailer coming from behind, killing all three on the spot.
All the deceased were residents of Mohallah Allama Iqbal Town, Baseerpur.
The second accident took place near Sanghar, in which two passengers died and fifteen, including two women, became seriously injured.
Rescue personnel said that the accident occurred when the tyre of the van burst. A groom and his bride were also on board the van.
Hospital sources said that eight injured persons were shifted to Shahpur Chakar Rural Health Center.
The bride and groom also received serious wounds. One dead body was unidentified. All the dead bodies were placed in the Rural Hospital Shahpur Chakar.
