Pakistan Railways suspended train services connecting Quetta with other cities, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, security concerns have led to the suspension of the Jaffar Express between Quetta and other provinces.
Similarly, the Bolan Mail from Quetta to Karachi will not operate.
In addition, passenger train services between Quetta and the border town of Chaman in Balochistan are also suspended for the day.
Railway officials cited security considerations as the reason for the temporary disruption.
Passengers are advised to stay updated with official announcements and plan alternative travel arrangements accordingly.
