The latest record surge of Rs12.03 per litre in petrol price has stirred a storm in the country as well as on the internet with users on Twitter expressing anger and displeasure on the ruthless and senseless hike in a series of ‘funny tweets’.
A number of memes were created and shared at the social networking platform Twitter. The users were of the view that the petrol price should not increase this much urging the government to take back the hike.
