A cheetah injured a man after it entered an under-construction house in Phase-II of Islamabad’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Issuing instructions for the area residents following the incident, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Rural Zukhruf Fida Malik said that people were advised to stay indoors since a cheetah had been spotted in the residential area of the DHA.
He said that teams of the wildlife department and the ICT administration were trying to trace the animal.
The AC further said that parks and other recreational spots would remain closed unless the beast was traced.
