Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz said on Monday that from the first of Ramadan, a programme titled, ‘Maryam ko btaen’ will be launched to immediately help deserving families, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet, she said that under the programme, deserving families would receive up to Rs10,000 within 24 hours by dialing helpline number 1000.
She further said that the families would be able to receive the amounts by writing down their national identity card numbers in the web portals or apps.
In order to ensure transparency, live-tracking system has been enforced while there will be digital record and monitoring as well.
Insha’Allah, it is my commitment that no deserving family that reached out will be left alone during the blessed month of Ramadan.
