The federal government on Thursday notified more transfers and postings.
As per the notification issued by the Establishment Division, OSD Usman Yaqub Khan, a Grade 21 officer of the Secretariat Group, has been posted Senior Joint Secretary in the Water Resources Division.
Muhammad Yahya Akhunzada, who was serving as Joint Secretary in the Economic Affairs Division, has been transferred and appointed Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office.
The notification stated that Muhammad Yahya Akhunzada’s appointment has been made under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, and will take effect immediately.
Deputy Secretary Abdul Karim Rind has been transferred from the Establishment Division to the Poverty Alleviation Division.
Services of Muhammad Hashim Shah, a Grade 18 officer of the Office Management Group who was posted on deputation with the Balochistan government, have been withdrawn and placed at the disposal of the Establishment Division.
These transfers are part of routine administrative measures aimed at improving efficiency within the federal government.
