The annual elections of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) will be held on February 14, 2026, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to details, the IHCBA President, Wajid Ali Gillani, issued two separate notifications about the holding of the annual elections of the IHC.
The nomination papers will be issued by January 19 and will be submitted by January 20 and 21, 2026.
The list of initial candidates will be issued on January 24, 2026, and the scrutiny process will be completed by January 27.
The objections on nominations will be received by January 29, 2026, and a hearing of these objections will be held on January 31, 2026.
The nomination papers can be taken back by February 3, 2026, and the final list of candidates will be issued on February 6, 2026.
Advocate Adil Aziz Qazi will perform his duties as the Election Board Chairman, and Riasat Ali Azad, Naveed Malik, Sardar Shoukat Hayat, Saad Rajput, and Husnain Sarwar will act as members.
