Dense fog claimed the life of a young man and left two others critically injured after a motorcycle slammed into a tractor-trolley parked on Gorumanngat Road in Lahore on Friday.
According to police, the victims were riding the motorcycle when poor visibility caused by heavy fog led to the collision.
Muhammad Wasi died on the spot, while Abdul Razzaq and Abdul Hadi sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trolley fled the scene immediately after the accident, police added.
The officials reached the spot soon after the incident, took the body into custody, and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Police have launched an investigation and are searching for the driver.
