Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Saturday announced to establish a Sports University in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The establishment of the first Sports University of Pakistan was announced and the official ceremony will be held soon.
A budget of Rs one billion has been allocated for the university.
Pakistan Sports Board has been assigned the task of holding classes temporarily in the sports complex.
The establishment of the university was decided back in 2017. It was decided that the Sports University will be established with the collaboration of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and the Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) at Islamabad Sports Complex.
