Pop star Katy Perry has been granted a permanent restraining order after a frightening series of incidents involving a man who repeatedly showed up at her California home.

According to court documents, the man named Ross Elliott Hedrick was first arrested in May after arriving at Perry’s residence uninvited. Despite the arrest, he returned just days later, prompting serious safety concerns.

During the court proceedings, Perry’s security team presented disturbing evidence, including doorbell camera footage. They testified that during the first incident, Hedrick appeared to be carrying what looked like a spray can and a lighter, raising fears of a potential threat. On his second visit, he reportedly tossed a blanket over the gate of the property.

In June, Perry filed for legal protection not only for herself but also for actor Orlando Bloom — her then-partner — and requested the court to keep Hedrick away from both of their homes. Although Perry and Bloom have since parted ways, the court filing remained unchanged due to ongoing safety concerns.

This week, a judge ruled in Perry’s favour, acknowledging the serious risk Hedrick posed and officially granting the restraining order.

The Dark Horse singer has not publicly commented on the matter, but the court's decision ensures that Hedrick must now stay away from her and her residence indefinitely.

The case highlights growing concerns among celebrities about personal security, particularly when dealing with persistent and unpredictable intrusions.
