Pakistan Transport Council President Tanveer Ahmad Jutt announced a wheel-jam strike on July 19, 2025, against illegal taxation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
In a statement, Tanveer Ahmad Jutt said that transporters will extend their full support to the business community till the acceptance of their demands.
He said that the strike will continue till the withdrawal of the six percent tax imposed on transporters.
Tanveer Ahmad Jutt said that due to the wrong policies of the current government, the country’s imports and exports are already destroyed.
He said that now our patience has run out and we will not tolerate the government’s wrong policies and irresponsibility.
