Pakistani actress Arsala Siddiqui has sparked discussion on social media after sharing her views on marriage, modern relationships and financial expectations during an appearance on the FHM Pakistan podcast hosted by Adnan Faisal.
During the conversation, Arsala shared her views on how relationships and marriage could change in the coming years. Expressing her personal opinion, she said, "Trust me, after 2030 people will not get married, they will opt for live-in relationships instead."
When host Adnan Faisal pointed out that live-in relationships are neither socially nor legally accepted in Pakistan, Arsala responded that although such relationships may not be publicly accepted, she believes they already exist.
She then added that anyone planning to get married should do so now, saying, "Anyone who wants to get married should do it now, in 2026."
The discussion then turned to her own views on marriage. Arsala revealed that she is currently single and said she has not yet found someone she considers suitable for marriage. When Adnan Faisal jokingly remarked that she had just declared there would be no "marriageable men" left by 2026, Arsala laughed and replied, "Yes, absolutely."
Despite her remarks, Arsala clarified that she still believes in love and described it as a beautiful feeling that everyone should experience. Comparing love and marriage to the well-known laddu proverb, she explained that both those who marry and those who don't often end up wondering whether they made the right choice.
She also spoke about financial expectations in marriage, saying she would only consider marrying someone who earns more than she does. Although she did not mention a specific income, Arsala said financial stability is important to her and added that she is capable of supporting herself independently.
