Against the international market trend of reduction in the prices of yellow mater, the rates of gold went up in the Pakistani jewellers market on Thursday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats pure gold increased by Rs1700 per tola to Rs2,20,700 per tola.
On Thursday, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats fine gold was also increased by Rs1458 to Rs1,89,215 per 10 grams in the local market.
While the price of 10 grams of the 22 karats also increased and traded at Rs1,73,447 per 10 grams in the Pakistani jewellers market.
In the international market on Thursday, the price of gold decreased by US$19 per ounce to US$1,929 per ounce.
On the other hand, the prices of pure silver of 24 karats were not changed and traded at Rs2,550 per tola and Rs2186.21 per 10 grams.
