Housewife of the detained President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi released her first-ever video message on social media after a meeting in jail on Thursday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, she appeared with a veil and burqa in the video clip and conveyed a message from her husband that he is standing with the PTI and the party chairman.
The wife of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has made a shocking revelation about the condition of Parvez Elahi that he was not even given a C-Class in jail which is a right of every detainee during detention in any prison.
She said she found her husband's health condition poor but he was mentally strong and had a stance to stick with the party and the chairman. She also confirmed that her husband's belief in religion has become more strong in detention.
Pervaiz Elahi's wife said that a few days ago, at midnight, received a call from an unknown number and the person, introducing himself as a Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) doctor and told her that Parvez Elahi had been brought to the hospital in an emergency as his health is not good.
The doctor said that please take Ch Pervaiz Elahi's medical reports and reach here immediately so that they can be treated properly, she said adding that when she reached there, a heavy contingent of police at the gate stopped her from entering the hospital.
She said she tried to meet her husband the next day in jail but failed. Now today morning, I met him in jail where he gave her a message for the family and the PTI that he did not change his stance, she said.
