Iran has issued a stern warning to Israel, stating that military operations targeting "war criminals hiding in Tel Aviv’s bunkers" will continue unabated until attacks on Iranian citizens come to a complete halt.
The statement was made by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian while addressing Iranian media on Monday.
The Foreign Minister declared that Iran’s retaliation against Israeli military actions is justified and will persist.
“We will not leave war criminals unpunished as long as they continue to harm our people,” he asserted.
Commenting on recent developments involving US President Donald Trump, he said If Trump truly supports diplomacy, then this is the time for decisive action.
Amir-Abdollahian also reiterated that Iran’s military stance is directly linked to Israel's conduct. “Israel must cease its aggressive operations; otherwise, Iran’s response will not stop,” he warned.
“Just one phone call from Washington can silence Netanyahu.”
He added that a meaningful shift toward negotiations would only be possible if the Israeli leadership, particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is restrained.
He maintained that Iran's recent actions are defensive and aimed at protecting its citizens from what it calls unjustified aggression by Israeli forces.
