Jamaat-e-Islami has demanded that the government of Pakistan provide all kinds of assistance for the security and defense of Iran, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The meeting of the Central Majlis-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan is underway in Lahore under the chairmanship of Ameer Jamaat Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman.

The three-day session of the Shura is being held at the JI headquarters in Lahore, with elected members from across the country in attendance.

During the meeting, a resolution condemning Israel’s unjustified attack on Iran was passed.

“We strongly condemn Israel's attack on Iran. It is a dangerous escalation that threatens the peace and stability of the entire region,” Rehman said.

The resolution declared Israel an illegitimate state and said that its aggressive ambitions have become a scourge for the entire region.

The Jamaat-e-Islami expressed its complete solidarity with the government and people of Iran and demanded that the government of Pakistan provide all kinds of assistance for the security and defense of Iran.

The meeting emphasized that Muslim countries should adopt a unified stance against Israel and unite to end Israeli domination.

Highlighting Israeli atrocities in Palestine, Rehman called it the worst form of oppression in human history.

He expressed deep disappointment at the silence of the international community, including the United Nations, the OIC, and Muslim governments.

On the Kashmir issue, Rehman reiterated Jamaat-e-Islami’s long-standing position that the dispute must be resolved under UN resolutions.

He condemned India’s continued human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and stated that no negotiations with India should proceed without addressing Kashmir.
