In order to discourage tax evasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday chaired a meeting at which he was briefed on the proposal to arrest the traders and award them 10-year prison term for committing tax fraud, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Finance Minister, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman and the law minister were also present at the meeting which was called after the prime minister took notice of the proposal.
