The Punjab government has appointed Sohail Qaiser Cheema as the new Managing Director (MD) of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Faisalabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to an official spokesperson of the Punjab Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Department, Sohail Cheema, a Grade-19 officer, previously serving as the Director Engineering in WASA Lahore, has been transferred and posted as MD WASA Faisalabad.
The previous MD WASA Faisalabad, Aamir Aziz, has been transferred and directed to report to the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) for further assignment.
The department has also issued a notification in this regard.
