The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced its national hockey calendar for 2026–27, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.

According to the schedule, the season will begin with the National Women’s Hockey Championship, which will be held from July 2 to July 11, 2026. This will be followed by the National Under-15 Boys and Girls Championship from November 12 to November 22, 2026.

The National Under-21 Hockey Championship is scheduled for January 2 to January 12, 2027, while the Navy Cup Senior Men’s Hockey Tournament will take place from March 16 to March 26, 2027.

Two major high-profile events will follow in April and May 2027, including the Chief of Army Staff Hockey Championship from April 5 to April 15, and the National Bank Gold Cup from April 25 to May 5.

The PHF has directed all provincial sports boards and educational institutions to immediately begin preparations, including player registration, coaching camps, and talent hunt programs.

Officials said special emphasis will be placed on promoting women’s hockey, junior-level participation, and school-based talent development to build a strong pipeline of players.

Inter-school and inter-district tournaments will also be actively promoted to ensure wider participation and talent identification at the grassroots level.

The federation stated that the domestic season is designed to strengthen the foundational structure of hockey in Pakistan, providing competitive opportunities from the school level to elite competition.
