A friendly Ludo game turned into a violent clash between two groups of the Pathan tribal community in Kashmore, leaving 12 people critically injured, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Guddu Police Station, where heated arguments escalated into physical violence.
Both groups attacked each other with sticks and bricks before resorting to gunfire, police sources said.
Upon receiving reports of the chaotic scene, a heavy contingent of police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital, Kashmore.
Among them, two were in critical condition and were later referred to Rahim Yar Khan for specialised medical treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the shocking incident.
