Lindsay Lohan’s highly anticipated sequel, Freakier Friday, is bringing an unexpected treat for fans—a surprise reunion with her Parent Trap co-star Elaine Hendrix.
The upcoming sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday features a brief yet exciting cameo from Hendrix, best known for her role as the scheming Meredith Blake in The Parent Trap. The trailer showcases a scene where Hendrix, alongside Never Have I Ever star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, appears as a waitress, dressed in a white button-down and black tie.
Her inclusion in the film was not previously announced, making it a delightful surprise for fans of the beloved 1998 family comedy.
Freakier Friday follows a storyline similar to its predecessor, with Lohan reprising her role as Anna Coleman and Jamie Lee Curtis returning as her mother, Tess. In the trailer, the duo visits a fortune teller who cryptically tells them they’ve “walked in each other’s paths” and “learned a lesson.” The next morning, they wake up to find they have swapped bodies once again.
The film is set to hit theaters on August 8, 2025, promising a nostalgic yet fresh take on the iconic body-swap comedy.
