Two women were killed and another injured when an accused barked into the house of his in-laws and opened fire on them due to a domestic dispute in Chiniot, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the police spokesman, accused Rustam, son of Boota, entered into the house of his in-law and started firing, during which his two sisters-in-law, namely Shamaila and Sana, daughter of Mukhtar resident of Mohallah Puran Plad, died while accused’s wife Rubi was critically wounded.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, senior police officials of Saddar Police Station reached the spot and shifted the injured wife of the accused to the hospital, where she was referred to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
A team of the Punjab Forensic Science Agency also reached the house and collected evidence of crimes.
The police team shifted the dead bodies of women to a local hospital for autopsy.
