A tragic shooting incident occurred late at night in the Timber Khata area within the jurisdiction of Khaki Police Station, Mansehra, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, a drug addict suspect opened fire, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, while three others, including a woman, sustained injuries.
During an attempt to arrest the suspect, an exchange of fire took place between the police and the accused.
Police claimed that the suspect, identified as Nadeem alias Kaka, was killed by his own accomplice’s bullet during the encounter.
However, the other accomplices managed to escape while firing at police.
The suspect’s body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police revealed that Nadeem alias Kaka was already wanted in multiple serious cases.
