In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly killed his wife and five children in Sargodha over a domestic issue, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
The tragic incident occurred in Chak 25 South, within the limits of Bhagtanwala Police Station, where the accused, identified as Yaseen Mallah, is believed to have attacked his family members with an axe inside their home.
According to initial police reports, the suspect allegedly murdered his wife, one daughter, and four sons by repeatedly striking them with the weapon.
Police confirmed that all six victims died on the spot.
After allegedly carrying out the attack, the accused is said to have injured himself.
He was later shifted to a hospital in critical condition.
Law enforcement officials shifted the bodies for medico-legal examination and launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the brutal killings.
