Veteran Lollywood diva Bushra Ansari turned 69 this year... yesterday was her birthday. Happy belated birthday to the queen of the Pakistani showbiz industry!

Taking to her Instagram handle, she told her fans that yes, it's her birthday today and she is thankful to everyone who wished her best on her special day.

"Yess! Today is my 69th birthday. And I am ok about it! Alhamdulliah. Thanks, friends and family, for your kind birthday wishes !!! Yayyyyyyyyyeee !!

Bushra's sister, Asma Abbas, also wished her elder sister by sharing a sweet, happy birthday post.

Bushra's daughter took to her Instagram and shared a love-filled video to wish her mother on her 69th birthday.

She wrote a long note that reads, "Happy 69th birthday, Amma! All my life, I have been proud to say that I am NOT like @ansari.bushra because it’s true. There is nothing average about her. Not as an artist or as a human being. Growing up, what we witnessed was a woman fiercely defending her inner child. Teaching us to be adventurous. To reinvent ourselves again and again. To laugh off everything. To work hard. Honestly, I don’t think we could follow her work ethic.

"She taught us that ambition is good. To change is good. To be honest is always good. And not to take ourselves too seriously. To cherish the small things. To have fun no matter what hell you’re in. She has been my greatest teacher and my biggest defender.

"We are still learning from her as middle-aged women. Blessed and lucky to have her as our mother. Thank you, Amma, for making our dreams come true. Please pray for her today."
